I love horror, near-time and technology/science based science fiction. I'm not crazy about fantasy. I also like "chick lit" if it's engrossing or humorous. I'm not into romance such as Harlequin or Silloutte, but I do like some of Linda Howard's books.

My favorite author is the King, that is, Stephen King. I've also become fond of Dan Brown (Angels & Demons, The Da Vinci Code) and Robert Sawyer (Factoring Humanity, The Terminal Experiment, Calculating God, Hominids)

I'm an avid reader. I'm married, the mother of 2 (one in college, the other in the 6th grade), and work full-time, but I've always got 1 or 2 books in my briefcase. It's surprising how many opportunities can come up when you can pull a book out to read!
