Hello, Ciaio!
This is the home of the first OBCZ in Ipswich and Suffolk. We set up some books on a windowsill on the first floor (near the fireplace) on Saturday 14th January 2006. Why not pop in for a coffee, maybe a pastry, a lunch/brunch panino or 2? Oh yes, and you can pick up a book!? What better way to spend some 'down time' away from the shops.
There are also free bookshelves in the Greyhound Pub near Christchurch Park and Coffee Link at Neptune Quay, the latter being the new venue for our monthly meetings 2nd Saturday of every month at 12 noon. We're a very friendly bunch; bring along books to share, or just come for a chat and chill out :)

Thank you to all the regular and not-so-regular contributors to the shelf, including special thanks for Esther (SemioticGhost) and Izzy (666Izzy).

Thank you for supporting this Official BookCrossing Zone and thank you to the manager and staff at Caffe Nero Ipswich for their help and kind indulgence.

Tony/BookGroupman :)
And a word from our sponsor:

"Caffè Nero Group Plc was founded in 1997 and is currently the largest independent coffee retailer in the UK, with over 248 Caffè Nero stores from Brighton to Glasgow.

Our aim is to provide a European style coffee house experience offering premium espresso-based gourmet coffee, authentic Italian food products and a relaxing atmosphere in every store.

Over the years we are proud to have won many accolades for the quality of our coffee and the overall Caffè Nero experience, including being rated as "The best espresso this side of Milan" (Tatler), labelled "The traditional Italian Cafè" (Egon Ronay) and ranked the best UK Coffee House brand for the 5th year running by UK consumers (Allegra Report 2004, the UK’s definitive guide for the coffee industry)."
