If not for books, how boring would life be!! When I am in a funk, theres nothing like sitting down and losing oneself in a good book. I keep a very busy life through volunteering.....I am the PTA President at my son's school, I both bowl and am a League officer for one of the Leagues, I am what they call the "STARR" representative for my hubby's Air Force Squadron...what that entails is when out service members deploy, I keep close tabs on the spouses and children left behind making sure they are alright and if anything is needed, I can direct them where they need to go. I am also very involved with the Squadron by organizing out Spouse Group and other activities geared towards the families. I am a member of several environmental groups such as the Sierra Club and the Defenders of Wildlife.
