We (madam et moi) are now retired and finding it increasingly difficult to pursue one of our favourite hobbies (reading) since we have involved ourselves with all the energy of the newly-retired in rugby adminstration, gardening (moi), Brownies, Rainbows, CAB (madam) and holidays & walking (both). We read, when we can, across the spectrum of literature with the emphasis on classics (madam) and modern (himself). We follow the book sections of the broadsheets and exchange views and books with our friends.
