(Volumes coming shortly...)
Welcome to the Bree Library, open to other Breelanders and friendly travelers alike! Your humble Breelander librarian, at your service. We hope you will find the shelves stocked to your liking. As you may notice, our collection exercises a preference for fantasy novels of the Tolkien, Weis/Hickman, Lewis and Alexander molds, and the classics and poetic collections. However, we are open to any and all suggestions for library acquisitions of any and all pieces of quality literature. Hear hear! The librarian himself also enjoys non-fiction works: biographies; fact books and almanacs; physics, chemistry, mathematics and the natural sciences; and numerous other genres. Those particular sparse stack members are currently seeking new companions. As for your humble librarian, he's an avid disc golfer, a high school mathematics teacher, a published poet and a lifelong learner. He loves a good pint of home-brewed ale at The Prancing Pony like most folks in Bree, but prefers to leave the gossip to the other locals.
It's a pleasure to meet you, traveler! May we meet again.
Current reads:
mr. g, Alan Lightman
Recent reads:
The Dark Elf Trilogy, R. A. Salvatore
The Silmarillion, J. R. R. Tolkien
(There's not really a library, and I'm not really a librarian, except perhaps in my own mind. The many breweries of Asheville are my Prancing Ponies, so seek me out if you are in the area. I'm just trying to be creative, so humor me and please write. :) And I'm a collector, so forgive that there isn't a great deal from which to choose; I have bought some books inexpensively specifically for this cause, when normally I buy really expensive collectors items and hardbacks and keep them.)
