Adams printing press was established by Benji Bennett in 2008 inspired by the sudden loss of his 4 year old son, Adam, to a brain tumor in August 2007. “Before you Sleep” the first book in the bestselling series of Adam’s Adventures was published by Adam’s Printing Press on Adam’s 1st Year anniversary, 13th of August 2008. Within 2 months of publication from a start up Publisher and unknown Author, “Before you Sleep”, amazingly hit number 3 in the Irish book chart.

After “Before you Sleep” won the Children’s Book of the Year award at the prestigious Irish Book Awards, in May 2009, Adam’s Printing Press launched its second bestselling title in the series, “Adams Amazing Space Adventure”, which quickly became a bestseller. Adam’s latest book “Adam Saves Christmas” published in October 2009 remained in the top 20 in Ireland for 9 weeks in the run up to Christmas reaching number 6 behind the Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series in December.

With a successful relationship with this year’s Oscar Nominated Animation studio, The Cartoon Saloon, the Illustrations creatively combine with the flowing rhythm of Benji’s writing to create very special and magical books for both parents and children to enjoy and remember forever.

Retail sales in the UK began in November 2009 through WHSmith and Waterstones. WHSmiths are so impressed with Sales of the series of books they will conduct an in-store promotion of Adam’s Books in April and June 2010
