I'm a sometime author with one semi-self-pubbed international thriller 'The Panama Affair', to my name, as well as the odd short-story and occasional travel articles (you can type my name into google for more on this).

I've spend 38 or so of my 58 years in the shipping industry, working in a variety of countries - New Zealand, Australia, the UK, a sixteen-year stint in Hong Kong, and more recently Panama and Venezuela.

I'm married with two adult children.

These days I have a consultancy business specialising in effective cost managment control of utilities for businesses.

My reading tastes vary from thrillers and travelogues to classics and humour.
