Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read.
A truly great library contains something in it to offend everyone.
Just as you shouldn't judge a book by its cover please do not judge a bookcrosser by their bookshelf -- not all books on my shelf are representative of the books that I like to read, yet are books that I could not bring myself to get rid of or they are books that I rescued from being thrown out.
If you see any books on the ever growing pile of TBR books that you are interested in, let me know and I will try to read them asap and send them off to you as I am more than happy to share.
I am against censorship!!! I believe in the freedom to read!!!
I would have her learn, my fair cousin how perfectly I love her and that is good english... -William Shakespeare (Henry V)
My favorite bookstore to buy new books at is Audrey's Bookstore, here in Edmonton. Please try to support them if your ever in my neck of the woods. What can I say I like small independent bookstores!
I will read almost anything, yet the topics that I enjoy the most are vampires, the city of Paris, Canadian Military History, World War I, Leonardo da Vinci, Russian History, anything to do with art, cemeteries, forensics, paleopathology and anything to do with things like swords and other types of weaponry. I am always trying to get out of my reading comfort zone, so suggestions are always appreciated.
