Although I read a wide variety of books my favorites are SciFi Fantasy and Murder Mysteries. I don't know why, but considering that fact, it always surprises me to admit my all time favorite book is Bridge of San Luis Rey. I tend to collect my favorites and re-read them every year or two or three. In addition to reading I enjoy movies, music, arts and crafts and playing with my great-nieces & nephews.

I thought when I retired I'd have more time for my favorite activities. I guess it's true in a way, I've just added several more "favorite activities". And my family has decided since I have so much extra time on my hands surely I could help them out by driving someone some place or watching kids for an hour or two. Actually, I'm loving it; I'm just busier than ever.
