Extended Profile
I love the idea of serendipidous encounters with a good book. I have always been an avid reader and now that my son and daughter are well past the baby years, I again have the time to read.
I enjoy reading about current geopolitical events, international travel, science, real women's lives, as well as novels and mysteries. I have read a number of holocast survivor memoirs. I have read quite a few art, architecture and design books.
The last book I read was "Memoirs of a Geisha" by Arthur Golden(very good book, amazing that a man could write so well with a woman's voice. It spoke to me). I am currently reading "A Mad World, My Masters" by John Simpson, a BBC foreign correspondent. Very interesting. The copy was serendipidously given to me by an accomplished world traveler.
I am going to go read now.
