My best friend gave me this - she had bought it with high hopes, but never really got into it. So she gave it to me - and I couldn't get in to it either. Hoping to find a happy home for this book!
RABCK to Mrsjones - Enjoy!!
Dear Reader:
What you have in your hands is an honest-to-goodness gift, no strings attached. You may keep it forever and ever, pass it on to a friend, or release it in the wild. I know it may seem a little odd to find this lying around--it's my way of touching the lives of others in a positive way, with the hope that it made your day. I hope you'll journal so all the previous and future readers can track this book's journey.
Thanks, and happy BookCrossing!

I came home from work today and found this surprise RABCK and another in my mailbox. How sweet! I've had this on my wish list and look forward to reading it. Thanks again!
I was looking forward to reading this book since I recently went to Key West and toured the Hemingway House. But I just couldn't relate to Martha. I didn't make it through this book and think I'll pass it on instead.
I'm adding it to the "I Need a Vacation" bookbox since it has such fabulous settings.

This lovely book returned in the I Need a Vacation Bookbox, thanks for including it! It looks like a good read so onto MTR it goes :)
This is a very interesting look at the wide travels of Martha Gellhorn and in very primitive conditions. Her travels in Africa are especially interesting. The first part of the book is the only experience journaled with Ernest Hemingway, her one time husband, with whom she journeyed to China.

I received this book today in the Surprise Paperback Bookbox. It looks interesting, but it seems that the first couple readers couldn't get into it. We'll see.
I’m sending this book to perryfran as part of the nonfiction VBB.
Thanks for sending this book from the VBB. I remember seeing a movie about Hemingway and Gellhorn a few years ago and look forward to reading this.
