I have no idea where I got this book, it looks new and has no BCID #. Well I've decided to read it for loriped's mystery book box.

The setting is beautiful Halifax. The story is about a woman who is murdered and her ex-husband who is a criminal suspect in the crime. It is pretty simple really, not too many characters; lots of action; a bit of romance; redemption for some but not for others. The ending defied all belief but was satisfying for all that.

Borrowed from bookstogive to read. This was a great read by a new to me author! I really enjoyed it and will be sure to look for more by this author. I recommend this one if you enjoy a well written, exciting mystery.
