"Left on her own when her family dies in a terrible disaster, 15-year-old Green is haunted by loss and by the past. Struggling to survive in a place where nothing seems to grow, Green retreats into the ruined realm of her garden. But in destroying her feelings, she also begins to destroy herself, erasing the girl sh'd once been as she inks darkness into her skin. It is only through a series of mysterious encounters that Green can relearn the lessons of love and begin to heal enough to tell her story."

A beautiful, beautiful book! Short and bitter sweet, not a single word of this novel is too much, every word rings true and full off compassion and understanding.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:

It's just a tiny little book, but I really liked it. Though 'liking' might not be the exact word.
I think I'll look out for more books by this authors.
I am going to surprise Xana with it, because it does look to me like a book she'd enjoy.
