Murakami once more... Stort story telling at it's best, quick, easy to read and very enjoyable... [read late 2004]
Stubee lent me this book as he said I have to read it!
Finally got round to reading this!
Although I enjoyed this short story collection I think in general I prefer his novels. These six stories are very compact though and evoke a lot in a short space - themes around love, loss, solitude and friendship - and the depth of character Murakami captures within some of the stories is testament to his writing.
Not my favourite of his but still a good read.
