I have struggled with reading this year. But I stayed up late to finish this book. Grabbed my attention quickly. I have been to the area of Nova Scotia that this takes place. I'm not sure how I feel about the story. Anger at how women were treated (still are treated); and frustration. I never felt emotion from Dora. Strange. I wasn't a fan of the last third of the book. An interesting story.
