I read this book while on a trip to Egypt and I must say I quite enjoyed it. It made me pick up another of Virginia Woolf´s books To The Lighthouse from a hotel library. The book was printed in 1995 and released for the Old books in Old buildings challenge.

I left this book in front of Karnak Temple in Luxor. The temple was built over a period of almost 2000 years. The beginning of the construction was 2100 B.C.
