received in the mail yesterday from saskiasosmile, along with some birthday invitations and a beautiful card with a kingfisher on it. This was a book I chose from the virtual book box Oliviapoolside did in honor of her late son Kalman's 18th birthday. I chose the book based on the first line, which was something about waking up and discovering you were not the person you meant to become.
I have looked at this book a few times at the store and considered buying it, but was never sure if it would be my cup of tea or not. Now I can get a chance to find out. Onto the top of Mt. TBR it goes!

This book has been sitting on my shelf for quite a while, but is always passed over without a glance when I select something from the TBR pile. It is time to be honest about whether it will be read and help it find a good home. Now it, along with many others, will be distributed for free by members of the local Book Crossing group, BCinDC, at the Gaithersburg Book Festival.
