I bought it at the library sale to put in my "mysteries' reserve" for these rainy or snowy Sunday afternoons. But the reserve is getting pretty big so I'll send this one to an other bookcrosser - someone who PM me after my surprise book offer. Enjoy!
This surprise book was enjoyed by Ysabol and it's now going to be enjoyed by me. I like this quirky series with the talking animals, as I am always "talking" for and to my "babies." Thanks, Ysabol and Folia!
Halfway through Chapter 1 I realized that not only had I already read this one, I've also seen the made-for-television movie. It's ready to move on!

update Dec. 29th - at first, I couldn't get into this book, with the animals frequently "interrupting" the flow - I was almost ready to give it up, but then it finally clicked, and I ended up enjoying the book.
