Read her first two, let's keep up the chase.
OK book, nice story if a little predictable. But I don't think this was supposed to be a mystery, more a fireside tale.
One thing bothered me about this book and I think the fault lies more with the editor than the author. It is supposed to be a story narrated to a bookseller. But it doesn't read like a narration, it reads like a book or a TV script. Also there were phrases where the narrator said things he wouldn't say because of the context. For example, he is talking to a bookseller in the foothills of the Pyrenees, yet he says I arrived at the town in the foothills of the Pyrenees. He would say that as the bookseller would already know where it was. It may be useful to the reader, but as a narration it irritates.
