Another great read from John Grisham. I'm not sure whether he hates or loves Lawyers but he certainly always writes the same style of story describing the frailities and greed of people and how they eventually fall foul of truth and good!

Anyway, I'm looking forward to releasing this book here in Cape Town, South Africa over this coming weekend!

Released on Sunday, September 14, 2003 at Constantia in Cape Town, Western Cape South Africa.

Wow, That was fun! I placed the book in a freezer bag to keep it dry and then placed it in a plastic carrier bag. I attached loads of "I'm a free book" label to the outside of the bag and then attached it with some string to a tree below Cecilia Waterfall on Table Mountain in Cape Town, South Africa. Before I had even left the scene, a group of people arrived and spotted the bag. I and a group of friends tried to look nonchalent as the other group read the label and debated whether or not to take it down from the tree. After about 10 mins they decided to take it down and off they went with my first successful book crossing. It was great fun and a real buzz! Hope they all enjoy reading it and then setting it on it's way!

A great read, and the way in which I got the book made it that much better.

Released on Saturday, January 01, 2005 at about 10:00:00 AM BX time (GMT-06:00) Central Time (US & Canada) at Malachite Bird Hide, Langevlei in Rondevlei, Western Cape South Africa.

RELEASE NOTES:

The book was sneaked into the Malachite BirdHide at Langevlei lake where a number of tourists/locals come on a daily basis to admire the varied birdlife. We were hoping to find it empty so we could place it in an easily visible spot ready for the next adventurer to find it. When we arrived there was actually a sort of new years party, strangely enough. A group of adults and kids were being pretty festive so we had to stealthily place the book under the visitors book as not to make it obvious what we were doing. Who knows whether they took it or someone else, but it was gone by the following morning. We look forward to tracking it across the globe.

I was part of the group 'suposidly " birdwatching at Rondevlei but actually having a bit of a new years get-togehter when a lady with her son walked in and left soon after very quietly..we found the book a few minutes after she left and were all intrigued.
My friend Suzi and I will have a lot of fun trying to think of the next appropriate spot to leave this book.
