Amazon Editorial ReviewBook restoration expert Brooklyn Wainwright returns home to San Francisco to teach a bookbinding class. Unfortunately, the program director Layla Fontaine is a horrendous host who pitches fits and lords over her subordinates. But when Layla is found shot dead, Brooklyn is bound and determined to investigate-even as the killer tries to close the book on her for good.
I really enjoyed this third one in the series. She even makes book binding sound interesting.

As usual I enjoyed the bookbinding stuff but I really don't like Minka LaBoeuf and don't believe she could exist in the book world for more than 5 min. She would be a terrible teacher, too. She's in the next book but PLEASE can she be gone after that? I also don't think that the scam over Oliver Twist would work. Collectors do their research and the scam would have been shown up as soon as people had the catalogues. It read pretty well and I was surprised by the ending.

Really enjoyed this. NEEDED to read a cozy after some of the heavy books I've been reading lately.
Have to agree with Strude, get rid of Minka LaBeouf....

Another good mystery read from a favourite series. Surely you have to love a cozy mystery that comes with its own glossary. (And have found myself noticing 'rounded spines'.)
