Thema: "Ja wo sa mer denn?"
Lies mindestens ein Buch, das diese Frage beantwortet, das also eine Ortsangabe im Titel trägt. Dabei ist es egal ob der Ort real existiert (z.B. Hawaii, Küche, New York...), eine Himmelsrichtung oder fiktiv (z.B. Himmel, Hölle, Nirvana...) ist.

About the Book:
The country's only celebrity werewolf, late-night radio host Kitty Norville, preferes to be heard and not seen. But when she's invited to testify at a Senate hearing on behalf of the country's supernaturals, her face is plasteres over national TV. Kitty's been in hot water before, but jumping into the D.C. underworld brings a whole new set of problems...

... and a whole new set of friends and enemies, including the vampire mistress of the city, a super-hot Brazilian were-jaguar, and a paranoid, Bible-thumping senator who wants to expose Kitty as a monster. Kitty quickly learns that this city of dirty politicians and backstabbing pundits, everyone's itching for a fight.

My opinion:
A were-wolf called Kitty... and we are in for a lot of trouble.
Kitty is not our prototype of a were-wolf, she got kicked out of her old pack and tries to find her way as a loner but it is not easy to cope with and overcome her submissive behaviour. When Kitty is asked to Washington she meets a whole new group of people, including the vampire mistress of the city.
The story is fast-paced and refreshingly off the usual paths of were-wolf fiction. It was a funny and very entertaining read and I enjoyed the book a lot.

Ist mit der Happy Cadaver Day-Box hier angekommen.

Dieses (Hör-)Buch geht an book-a-billy.

Sofern ich noch keine Bewertung in meinem ersten JE hinterlassen habe, bin ich leider nicht mehr dazu gekommen, es zu hören/lesen. Ich hatte mir dies ganz fest vorgenommen, aber das Leben ist mir dazwischen gekommen.

Ich werde im Juni 2016 nach Irland ziehen und muss mich daher – schweren Herzens – von einem Großteil der bei mir befindlichen Bücher trennen. Ich hoffe, du hast Verständnis dafür, dass das (Hör-)Buch so lange bei mir gewesen ist. Es bleibt aber dem Bookcrossing-Kreislauf erhalten und ich bin mir sicher, dass book-a-billy gute Verwendung dafür hat oder findet.

Auch ich werde Bookcrossing treu bleiben – wenn auch in den nächsten Monaten nicht aktiv, da ich erst einmal richtig in meiner Wahlheimat ankommen möchte.

PMs sind natürlich jederzeit willkommen, aber seht es mir nach, wenn meine Antwort lange auf sich warten lässt.

Das Buch ist mit viiiiiiiiielen Artgenossen gut bei mir angekommen. Ich werde mich nach und nach um die vielen schönen neuen Bücher kümmern - ich habe schon gesehen, dass da einige Schätzchen dabei sind, die erst mal mich selber erfreuen werden. Reisen dürfen sie über kurz oder lang alle wieder.

Huch, warum ist das Buch denn noch auf meinem Shelf?, das habe ich doch schon ewig freigelassen.
