I keep thinking that I should LOVE this author...but I don't. I think that it has something to do with his sentence structure and I find myself rereading passages. Maybe I just read too fast, but sometimes his sentences just seem weirdly constructed. I read his novel "Fool" a few years ago and thought that it was ok, so I thought I'd give him another shot.

This story was decent and it picked up about halfway through. There were several laugh-out-loud moments, but I wasn't "consistently" entertained...if that makes any sense.

Many folks love this author, but he's just not for me. I'm reserving this book for a bookbox that's heading my way.
