This book was turned into a really fun movie, one with lots of twists and turns and some dark overtones. It belonged to a friend of ours who died very tragically at the young age of 25. He was a genius -- dual degrees in aerospace and aeronautical engineering and the recipient of a $90K scholarship from NSF to do graduate study anywhere he chose. He chose MIT, where he pursued his interests in the aerodynamics of dolphins. Sadly, his insights into how they are able to swim with so little friction were lost with him. I can only hope that this small offering will keep his memory alive forever.
