This book is great fun, but also poignant. It's the story of a British Liberace type guy, his trials and tribulations, his completely obsessed mother and his less famous brother. His family is in denial about his flamboyant sexuality, as is he to some extent. We follow him from his teenage years till late in his life, and every step was really gripping. I passed it on to another book lover here in Wellington, and I look forward to seeing what she thinks.
