picked this up at the book buffet at the world convention mainly to show ResQgeek since he has told many stories of releasing books in the water and wraping thim in plastic bags so they float. I thought he would get a kick out of the title. However, I think I will show it too him and read it.

I picked this book up at the February BC-in-DC social because of the title, which simply screamed for me to take it for a water release! Of course, I love the city of Venice as well, and the colorful history of the city provides for plenty of interesting stories, so I'll have to read this before I can make that release.

Mea culpa! I have been seriously remiss in my duties as a bookcrosser! I never intended to hold onto this book for this long, and had completely forgotten about it until my wife discovered a hidden pile of books. It is time for this to move along.
