One of my favorite historical fiction books ever.
Set in 13th Century Wales and England, this is the story of Llewellyn of Wales fight for
Welsh Independance from the English King John (You know Richard the Lionhearted's evil brother) despite being married to one of John's bastard daughters Joanna. This is a beautifully written tale.
