From Dead to Worse (Southern Vampire Mysteries, No. 8)
3 journalers for this copy...
From the cover: After the natural disaster of Hurricane Katrina and the man-made horror of the explosion at the vampire summit, Sookie Stackhouse is safe but dazed, yearning for things to get back to normal. But her boyfriend, Quinn, is among the missing. And things are changing, whether the Weres and vamps in her corner of Louisiana like it or not. in the ensuing battles, Sookie faces danger, death...and, once more, betrayal by someone she loves. And when the fur has finished flying and the cold blood has ceased flowing, her world will be forever altered....
I was disappointed in this book. After the action and over-arching plot of All Together Dead and the cover copy, I was thinking this would be even better. It felt very hodge-podge and the various plots did not tie together in any way, shape, or form. It didn't seem to do much, not even wrap up loose ends from the previous book, at least, not satisfactorily. But, I'm in for the long-haul. These are still fun, easy-to-read books that provide a needed break in a hectic life.

Thank you for joining this spiral. Each book has a different shipping order, based on who requested it. Please journal each book as you receive it and check who to ship it to. When the book has left it’s current person, the next book will be shipped.
This book is shipped in the following order:
Ellissamay [NY, USA]
Adrienne10 [NE, USA]
Some guidelines to help the book on its journey:
1 On receiving the book write a journal entry so we can all keep track of where it is.
2 I will note people who already have had the book and its current location in colored type.
3 The person with the book PM's the next one on the list for their address and sends it along.
4 The goal of a spiral is for no one person to have several in the series at once. Please try to read the book as soon as possible and send along so that you do not end up with many at once. The exception is the person at the end of the spiral.
Thank you so much for participating!

I didn't like this book as much as All Together Dead. This one was a bit of a let down after that one, but it wasn't my least favorite book in the series. It seemed a bit scattered and not as complete as it could be. Overall, I did like the book and the series.

Arrived about a week ago! Sorry, book spiral, but the end of the school year and a new job has led the Stackhouse books to pile up.... I'll do my best to move them along in the next few weeks.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
After a long Bookcrossing absence and many many life events, I'm sorry to say that I no longer have this book and I released it into the wild instead of continuing the book ring. There isn't a way to indicate that you let go of a book some time ago (that I can see), but I no longer have this... I believe I left it on the free shelf in my apartment building's lobby two or three moves ago. I'm so sorry to the other participants... I hope you got to finish the series through some other means and that this book shows back up on BookCrossing some day.
