The Murderer's Tale (A Sister Frevisse Medieval Mystery)

Not actually a "thriller" but it is a mystery set in fifteenth century England. (The main character is a relative of Chaucer, IIRC.)
Sister Frevisse is a smart, observant lady and is not afraid to ask questions. Things did not seem right to her when it was claimed Lionel killed his companion/servant in a violent fit.
Although I realized I had read this a few years ago, I still enjoyed revisiting the tale.
