Wonderful. Not a detective novel as such in that there's very little detecting to be done; the truth unfolds of itself over the course of this splendid novel set in the world of high art. I don't want to say too much as a precis would give a false impression, I think. Oh, and Puppywolf has insisted that I deface the cover to read 'The Brutal Fart', but I haven't yet. Though I have a paint in just that colour.....

Either to a fellow bookcrosser at the meeting (10.30 in the pub - join us!) or in the wilds of central Manchester afterwards.

Not your standard detective novel, but the uncovering of a family's secrects. Very readable and enjoyable.
