Normally I dislike books that are full of detail because I often feel that the author is saying either, "I have done hours of research and I am not going to waste a word" or, "I know this is only a short story really but if I pad it out with enough detail it might make a novel"

This book is packed with detail but it is the story of aTuscan village, its history and its inhabitant, and it is written with such love, compassion and undestanding that it is fabulous. I do not want to give anything away but the author is Australian married to an Italian she tells of her joy at moving from La Signora to Isobella after being in the village fro some years.

I loved this book so much I am not sure I want to wild release it and risk loosing track of it it the big black hole of cyberspace. It will certainly e available for controlled release.

After I had read this book I lent it to a neighbour who said she had read a similar book before, but could not remember the details. I wonder if it was actually this book?
I found the book facinating and without givig too much away the authors joy when she is finally accepted by the local women is quite moving.
