Anna Pidgeon - US park ranger, mid-aged woman in her 40's and very realistic - especially emotionally. This is the 10th or 11th in a series and Anna is still in the south (Natchez Trace) and in a relationship. Throughout this series there is a wonderful picture of the US national park system as Anna is transferred around.

Good story - not too simple and interesting interweaving of people, story and the environment/setting.

I received this book from Justabookhound who rescued it from the sunroot hole and have finally joined bookcrossings - yay!! It takes more time to do things as mom of a wee one - but I'm finally getting my reading time back! Hope to be making entries often - I'm off to read Hunting season now - before my boy wakes from his nap...
Later... good fast book, I enjoyed the scrappy female character!

i got this book from my sis and before this i did not know a thing about bookcrossing. i enjoyed reading hunting season( my 1st nevada barr). i liked the way the whole mystery was set up and how one clumsy move lead to death.
this book has traveled far and wide and it was fun knowing that and it just made reading this book more exciting.

CAUGHT IN KATHMANDU
