Five children grew up in a big house by the sea. Years later, two of the children grown-up still live in their childhood home. Then, their frail and forgetful sister comes to live with them, stirring up old memories of the past.
It was slow-going reading this book until I got to the final third of the book, then I couldn't put it down. I was quite moved by the ending and felt quite satisfied when done with the book.
