Another book I picked up from the library book sale by London's Victoria Station. Paperback fiction at 50 p! Yay! I've been wanting to read this one for a while.

Enjoying so much reading time as I travel hither and yon by bus and train...
This was a really, really good read. Oddly enough, it was not a page turner for me, as crime fiction usually is--but then maybe this isn't crime fiction. What I mean by it not being a page turner was that I found I would read a few chapters and then escape into a lighter book for a while. Maybe it was because of the subject matter--even though not as unpleasant as some I've read--but I found I couldn't read for very long without another diversion. I did find it amazingly well written, and cleverly plotted, in a way where I couldn't see where she was going with it. The book's characters are also real and human in a way that feels very much like real people, not fictional creations. I find it hard to know what to say without giving too much away. But definitely a read to recommend, the sort I'd like to discuss with the next reader. Hope you enjoy it, whoever you are!

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
This was in the bag of books I gave to Scarabo on our great girls-night-out! How much fun was that?
Good book, though at times difficult to read. Hope you like it.
