Just finished! I'm really not sure what I expected from this one. I knew it would be different than his typical horror novels, which is fine, as I'm not into horror. I've been told by several people that I just had to read this series as it was so good! Well, myself, I've read a lot of books that I liked much better than this one, and I'm kind of torn about going on to read the rest. On the one hand, it was just odd, so odd at times I was ready to put it down and not bother, and then something would happen that peaked my interest. So I'm still undecided! BrynnSC will laugh at this, since every time I talked to her while reading, my opinion on finishing it was different! I may even have to get into the second one before deciding!

At any rate, thanks iagal, for the opportunity to read this much lauded story, and I will be passing it along to BrynnSC sometime soon in a box headed her way!

I received this and many other books in a box that Shaunsay sent to me. She seemed off and on about this book, but finally finished it. :-) She also included PRESENTS! BC Bookmarks, Post-It's, and a Window Clingy! I'm so happy to have found this site and all the amazing people that I've met! Thank you!

iagel included a lovely printed out bookmark with the book. On the back she has written "Enjoy the book! -iagel" with a postage looking stamp with a beautiful flower on it. How appropriate that I get this now. Spring has taken hold and flowers are blooming everywhere! Thank you for sharing, iagel!

found in BrynnSC's fantasy bookbox - I read this once long ago and wasn't too impressed. But I've decided I want to give this series another try.
