A friend told me about this book after she heard the author interviewed on NPR. With coins in my pocket (payday came at last), I bought the book and read it in one sitting! This woman is one brave female. I applaude her actions in going after what she wanted--"lots of sex with a man she liked."

Of course, by the time we reach middle-age, we all are carrying a lot of emotional baggage around with us. The author did correspond with and meet several of the 60-some men who replied to her ad. She met her objective with about 4 of them. There were problems with several of the "relationships" and the author was deeply hurt by one when her love was not reciprocated.

I have to thank the author for sharing her late-life adventures with other women who are not so brave as she.

I loaned this book to the person who originally told me about it. When she returns it, I will loan it to other women I know who have already expressed a wish to read it. Perhaps I will release it eventually to a BookCrossing Zone.
