Last Dance, Last Chance (Ann Rule's Crime Files)

Someone gave me a box of books with several Ann Rule books in it, so I decided to read them before release.
I find her writing style a little stiff, so I'm wondering how she managed to have so many bestsellers. I'm assuming because of the true crime factor. Her books usually have one large true crime story, and then a few smaller ones.
I often wonder how naive women can be to stay in situations such as this one, but then I've always been suspicious and too practical to continually deal with manipulative people.
It was an OK book, but I don't think I'd ever pay full price for one.

I found this book on a table in the breakroom at work. I needed something to read so I picked it up and started reading it. It is not my usual choice of reading material but it fulfilled the need. I will return the book to work and hopefully someone else will pick it up.
