The memoirs of a marijuana dealer.
"During the mid-1980s Howard Marks had 43 aliases, 89 phone lines and owned 25 companies trading throughout the world. At the height of his career he was smuggling consignments of up to 30 tonnes of marijuana, and had contact with organisations as diverse as MI6, the CIA, the IRA and the Mafia. Following a worldwide operation by the Drug Enforcement Agency, he was busted and sentenced to 25 years in prison at Haute Penitentiary, Indiana"
A ripping yarn basically. Amusing and worth a look.

This book seems to have taken me ages to read but I do not know why, it is gripping and interesting. The different scams that have been pulled, the interesting places and people Howard has met make this book flow, there is no getting bored (even if you do not normally read autobiographies you'll be alright this one).
