6 journalers for this copy...
Dear Reader
Welcome to BookCrossing and thanks for being a part of World Book Night 2011, the largest book giveaway in history. 1,000,000 specially printed copies of 25 different books changed hands on March 5th 2011 and began their journey from reader to reader. This book is one of them. World Book Night has joined with BookCrossing to help track these books as they travel. You can be a part of that journey by making a comment in the book's journal here on BookCrossing. Your journal entry can say how you got the book, what you thought of it, your plans for it or whatever else you might like to add.
On BookCrossing you may choose to remain anonymous or join (it's free). If you join, you’ll be alerted by e-mail each time someone makes another journal entry for this specific copy of this book (other copies of the book are travelling with their own ID number. Every copy of every book has a unique ID). It’s all confidential (you’re known only by your screen name and no one is ever given your e-mail address) and spam-free.
Thanks in advance for being part of World Book Night and BookCrossing. And happy reading and sharing.

I was assigned 48 copies of this book to give out as part of world book night 2011. I have just finished reading my last copy, and intend to pass it on to a friend!
I found the style that the book was written in (one end of a two way conversation) to be frustrating and awkward in the first few chapters, but as I read on, I got more in to the book, and found the narrative style to be integral to the plot. Without giving away too much of the ending, it was definatly poignant and somewhat shocking. I advise future readers to look past the initial awkwardness of style, because the book is a short and easy read, and definatly one to make you think.

Journal Entry 12 by Nataliec7 at West Molesey, Surrey United Kingdom on Wednesday, February 18, 2015
Chosen from the R Bookring.
Changez, a Pakistani man, tells his story of being in America. The time line spams 4 years where he is a young man and he ends up going to Princeton and then working in a small but exalted financial company. The salary is high and many want this exclusive job.
During his time in America, the world trade centre disaster happens, he meets a young woman Erica who he loves and there are issues affecting his family in Pakistan.
He tells his story in a small restaurant in Lahore, his home town to an American. The descriptions are vivid, the story in depth and very interesting.
I never knew what to expect of this book and was pleasantly surprised, reading and immersing myself into his life, his story, his choices, his past and his future.
Well written, easy to read and a little gem of a book.
