3 journalers for this copy...
In San Francisco newlyweds are being stalked - and slaughtered. Enter four unforgettable women, all friends... Lindsay, a homicide inspector in the city's police department... Claire, a medical examiner... Jill, an assistant D.A. ... and Cindy, a reporter who has just started working the crime desk of the San Francisco Chronicle. Joining forces, pooling their talents, courage, and brains, they have one goal. To find, trap, and outwit the most diabolical and terrifying killer ever imagined.

I really liked the strong female characters in this story. I liked that it was set in San Francisco, since I've been there many times.
A couple of errors popped out at me:
1. When the sales lady said that they just returned from their "cabin in Modesto." I live in Modesto, we have no cabins. Very urban.
2. When he wrote that Jenks was returning from the Santa Rosa courthouse. The murders were committed in Napa, Napa County. Santa Rosa is the county seat for Sonoma County.
Overall, it was a great story and I will start reading the 2nd book tonight.

Journal Entry 3 by Sissyrun at N/A in Post office, A book trading site -- Controlled Releases on Saturday, July 1, 2006
Received with much appreciation for the 3rd Australian BookCrossing Convention, Adelaide, Australia, 20-22 October 2006.
Thanks :)
Thanks :)
I am so sorry the journal entry is this late. I have been overseas and generally swamped for the last month, only just catching up with the huge piles of books that fill my house. There was the convention and between my son and I we brought home 30-odd books, then BC Brisbane lunch where I gather all the orphans for an unofficial BCZ at work, then the trip to India where I just had to go to bookshops and, oops, buy more books, then two friends (separately) decided to have cleanups and give me all their unwanted books, then there's the lovely surprise RABCK at the post office with four(!) books in it...
You get the picture?
I picked up this book to see if I enjoy James Patterson. i have heard mixed opinions, so have to find out fo myself.

It took a bit longer than expected, but I did find out. I did enjoy this one with the Women's Murder Club cracking the clues. I'll keep my eyes peeled for the rest in the series now.
Sorry for the hold up, I'll get this one moving again.
