This book contains the first three of the Chanur books: The Pride of Chanur, Chanur's Venture, and The Kif Strike back.
Cherryh is one of the finest writers I have ever read. Her alien societies, her worlds, and her plots are complex and realistic. I was blown away at how true to life her alien societies and their social practices were and how much they reflected the biology of her aliens. I first read the Chanur saga in the early 1980s and I recently reread them a couple of years ago. Nothing has been lost through time or maturation. I love them as much now as I did then.
There are two more books: Chanur's Homecoming and Chanur's Legacy. If you want to read more look for them at your local library. If they don't have them, ask about doing an interlibrary loan for them.

I left it on a circular table near the display case in the Lounge on 2R. It used the be the entrance to the old Wise Library.

This book was left at the WVU Library. It sat on a shelf for ages until I noticed the free book sticker. I have read this book and am ready to release it...thanks! Released at Jay's Daily Grind, Morgantown, WV. Left it in a green chair as I was passing.
