I think Naomi had a rather good, but very slight idea.

I think what Naomi needed was a rather good tough editor.

In exploring these issues, Naomi has over written her essential thesis until she forces it into our brains and tries to overpower us with her argument. And she talks about being brainwashed!

I have already been the beneficiary of Girltiger's generosity so I felt a little sheepish going hunting for her books. I'm pleased I did though because I scored three books and they all look good or at least interesting. I note the poor review of this book and I have many of the same reservations but I have heard enough about it to want to give it a go. This is promised to inert when I'm done.

I've skimmed through this and neither have time nor any real desire to go further. It looks like she makes some valid points but I don't think I agree with her on everything and some of it looks a bit dated. Sending to inert as a RABCK.

Journal Entry 4 by Grimnebulin from Melbourne CBD, Victoria Australia on Saturday, April 24, 2004
There was nothing random about Fire Dragon's act of kindness - I asked for it.

Twenty or so pages in, no concerns or difficulties following as yet.

I've been meaning to comment on this for months now, but somehow kept forgetting.

It *was* a slight idea, and would've benefited from a broader approach, perhaps. At least, in itself, and it seems inadvertently, it's an interesting slant on consumerism and the anti-globalisation movement. I found myself laughing aloud at the absurdity of some of these corporate practices. It was a fun read, motivational and mildly unsettling.

Release planned for Thursday, July 08, 2004 at Internet cafe on the corner of Leigh & Hindley Str in Adelaide, South Australia Australia.
