I thoroughly enjoyed and would highly recommend this book to everyone, male and female and any age group. It is a love story told in a very unique way, with lots of twists and turns. It kept me guessing till the end, as I didn't know how it was going to turn out. It was surprising how many emotions it evoked in me. Simply, it follows the story of Em and Dex, as we catch up with them on the same day, every year, for 20 years. A unique way of telling a story I thought.

I will be handing out my 48 books in a pub in Milton Keynes on World Book Night.

I thought the characters were quite annoying and needing a bit of a slap (particularly Dexter), but I think that was because I was drawn into the story enough to be bothered about them. I enjoyed this and thought the author got the cultural references just right. 7/10

Well written, well constructed book let down by utterly unlikeable, self-absorbed and petty characters. Two people doomed to lives of disappointment so probably just as well one killed off so we can't have a sequel. Obviously not for me.
