Picked this up in Oxfam book shop in Hull City Centre today - hubby noticed it. It is in a style of lots of people's emails to tell the story of colleagues in an advertising agency. It looks similar to 253 by Geoff Ryman, but whether it will be as good remains to be seen.
I enjoyed this easy read, the format lends itself to being read in bits, just like reading emails! I am certainly glad I don't work for Millershanks! Horrid people. Anyway, enjoyable...will be looking for a new home for this now.
This is reserved for Kittiwake to be given at Nottingham meetup. Happy Reading!
Picked up at the Nottingham meet-up today. Thanks Olliebear.
The story of an advertising agency's bid for the Coca Cola account, told entirely in e-mails. Much back-stabbing, boozing and bad behaviour - very funny.
It was only when I finished that I noticed the amusing computer icons on the cover (e.g. the career icon shows a toilet).

To be passed on at Saturday's Nottingham meet-up.
Picked up at the Nottingham BC neat, looks complicated I wonder how much will be simliar to where I work.
This book is fanstastic read, at first I thought the email idea behind it would not work but it does and it does well. By a charaters second email you'll have figured out what they are like, from then on the action gushes from the pages and I wanted to read all the book there and then. The author does not go over the top on acromyns nor smiley faces so even if you are not up on all the email jargon you can read this book. If you do work in an emailing office environment you will not want to miss this.
