Dit boekje is wel heel bijzonder. Ik heb het kunnen bekijken tijdens de supper leuke conventie in Amsterdam. Leuk dat ik er nu ook in sta samen met zoveel andere BC-ers. Veel plezier ermee verder!

Hi Wyando, I was very happy to finally meet you in person! I must admit, I didn't take the time to read this book, I barely had the time to quickly scribble my name on page 22. Next time I see you, I won't be organising a convention and I hope to actually have a look at the book! Tijdens de geweldige conventie van Amsterdam de gelegenheid gekregen om dit leuke boekje door te bladeren en mijn nick op pagina 36 erbij te zetten.
Read (leafed through might come closer (o;) it during the Amsterdam 2010 Convention. I really can understand that you do not want to send this wonderful book by mail any more, neither would I being in your shoes! Wish you and the book lots of readers and nice JEs.
Ook ik heb eindelijk mijn naam kunnen zetten in dit mooie boekje. Ik weet alleen niet meer op welke pagina..... :-), maar dat weet je waarschijnlijk zelf wel.

I was honored to get to look at this book during the convention. I signed my name under a pinball machine somewhere in the book and I am just now getting the chance to make a JE.
The volcano held us in Europe for an extra week and I have just gotten home and unpacked. That prompted me to find this card tucked away and make this entry to record my place in history as this book circulates among BookCrossers far and near!
I hope this book (and its keeper, Wyando) make it to Washington, DC in 2011 for the next convention. I look forward to seeing you both again!

Vandaag voor het eerst naar een bijeenkomst van Bookcrossing in Castricum. Ook net vandaag aangemeld voor bookcrossing en meteen in het boek mijn handtekening geplaatst. Bij het plaatje van een mevrouw die de boekenkast aan het afstoffen is. Voor mij symbolisch om mijn boeken te leren loslaten.

Wyando en Seltsame Bücherfreund struinden samen rond op de meeting in Castricum. Wuifwuif!
Een superboek van Wyando met al héél veel namen van bookcrossers er in die Wyando persoonijk ontmoet heeft. Ik heb mijn naam gezet op pagina 29 bij een mannetje dat heerlijk lui in het gras ligt te lezen.

In the first few months of belonging to Bookcrossing, I was poking my nose into all the odd corners of the site, and discovered the list of most journalled books, and of course, this was at or near the top. I was intrigued how a book could get so many JEs, and when I looked at it, I thought it was a sort of friendship book, and I thought I would never get the opportunity to write in it, as Wyando is German, and I'm not likely to attend a meeting in Germany. I knew Wyando was coming to the convention in Amsterdam, so I was looking forward to finally getting to write in his famous book. However, our paths didn't cross, and I was kicking myself that I had missed my one and only chance. So imagine how delighted I was to see that he was planning on coming to Castricum, and I made a beeline for him as soon as I got the chance. I was surprised to find it is an actual book, and it was fun to look through and see who had signed it already. I found a page with a picture of a double decker bus, one of the symbols of England, so I drew a little picture of me running after it (I'm often late), and signed my name (on page 42, I believe). That's funny, I've just realised the bus is on the front cover, too;-)

Wat een leuk idee. Ik kan me voorstellen dat dit boek dierbaar is geworden. Hopelijk kun je nog veel bookcrossers bewegen om ook hun naam in het boek achter te laten.
Wat een leuke verzameling grappige tekeningen over lezen! Ik heb mijn naam toegevoegd op pagina 16 en wens ook de volgende lezer veel plezier met dit boekje!

Das Buch war zusammen mit Wyando zu Besuch in Ulm. Wer kann da schon widerstehen und sich nicht verewigen?
Hab das Büchlein und seinen derzeitigen Besitzer im Hemperium in Ulm getroffen. Was ein sehr nettes Treffen obwohl Ulmer Pommes für Belgier wohl zu viel sind ... ;-)

At the end of the annual "beach" event there was this special group of Germans. How nice to be in a project like this. Hope you will be able to "publish" the pages for all to see. Traveling with a book in a way like this brings together a lot of bookcrossers. Thank you for giving a face to the normally unanimous bookcrossers.

Caught at the UK Uncovenvention in Swindon. I almost chose page 6, because the beard is the same shape as Tehuti's (aka Thoth, Djeheuty) beak. In the end, though, I had to choose page 26 because one of my pleasures in living alone is being able to read at the table without being thought rude!
The book and Wyando and me finally met at the UK Uncon in Swindon - and I found it really hard to decide which page to pick... However, I put my name down somewhere :-)

Viel hatte ich schon von diesem legendären Büchlein gehört und gestern hatte ich die Ehre es selbst in meinen unwürdigen Händen zu halten (Unperfekthaus-Mousse-aux-Chocolat wurde vorher abgeleckt... ja - wir befanden uns in Essen beim Essen).
Auf Seite 26 habe ich mich verewigt. Die essende Oma *kihi* - auf dem Messer, da wo ich hingehöre ;-)

Ich hatte gestern während ruhrCrossing2010 die Gelegenheit, die lange Liste der Bookcrosser, die das Buch schon in den Händen gehalten haben, etwas zu verlängern.
Das Büchlein fand mich beim ruhrCrossing2010 im Unperfekthaus in Essen. Nunja, eigentlich fand mich der wyando und drückte es mir in die Hand. So ein Meetupbuch ist eine schöne Idee. Möge es noch viel reisen.
Ich steh auch schon drin. Ich bin mal gespannt, wieviele Namen da noch herein kommen. Da sage mal noch einer es gäbe langweilige Bücher. Ich hoffe, dass dieses Buch noch ein paar Reisen überlebt und es ist eine schöne Erinnerung.

Ich habe mich auf Seite 45 in Wynando`´s Büchlein verefigt.Dies war im Oktober 2010 aufem ruhr Croosing treffen in Essen,ich finde es ist eine tolle Idee.Noch weiterhin viel Spass damit.Liebe Grüsse Leila 21!

Wynando gaf me een kaartje met het vriendelijke verzoek een iets achter te laten in het 'gastenboek' van dit boek. Welnu, het alweer enige tijd geleden dat het gele kaartje van Wynando in mijn bezit kwam, sorry voor de vertraging. De kleur van het kaartje doet het goed oplichten in de stapel te doen zaken op mijn bureau. Hoop dat alles naar wens is met Wynando, en wellicht tot ziens! Veel leesplezier!

Finally got to meet Wyando at the BCinDC 2011 convention, and added my name to page 38 (where the elephant lives)
Enjoyed meeting Wyando and reading this book at the BCinDC. This was the first activity I did after signing up for Bookcrossing (during the convention). I signed on page 13 (left page of the two page picture of a wife throwing books at her husband).

"Beste wo gibt" - verewigt im OKtober 2011 beim Meetup in Kölle
Searching through my BC things as I was getting ready to leave for the Dublin convention tomorrow, I stumbled upon Wyando's card, which I keep misplacing. I wrote my name in the book during the convention in Amsterdam two years ago - shame on me for not journalling yet! It's a lovely book, somthing of a bookcrossing treasure! I hope you will get many more contributors in Dublin. See you there!

Read and signed at the pub quiz after the Dublin convention, 15 April 2012. What a wonderful thing to be part of!
On the third day of BookCrossingConvention in Dublin I finally managed to get to know Wyando and his famous book. We met in this nice OBCZ The Long Stone Pub. I admired the poststamp of Ballycumber in the front of the book and found a nice space beneath a huge nose on page 12 for my name :-)
Nun habe auch ich dieses Büchlein mal gesehen. Sehr schön, dass ich mich verewigen konnte! Es ist außerdem das erste Buch mit eigener Visitenkarte, das ich kennenlernen durfte, und seit langem das erste mit sechsstelliger BCID. Weiterhin gute Reise!
Und natürlich war es mindestens genauso schön, ein paar der verewigten Namen jetzt auch mal Gesichtern zuordnen zu können.
