"The Eyre Affair is a silly book for smart people: postmodernism played as raw howling farce"
The Independent
IMO Fforde is probably one of the most original and inventive writers at work today and simply put, a 'breath of fresh air'.
I could not do the story any justice by attempting to summarise further than to encourage everyone to read and immerse themselves in Fforde's world and that of his creation - Thursday Next - as a Lara Croft for the book geeks amongst us all, irrespective of gender.
Enjoy!

Passed to a work colleague (Robert) to read & hopefully re-release :)
A good laugh. Very Terry Pratchet-ish. Got the book from a workmate. Plan to release it in the coming week or two, in the bayside area.

While at work today I noticed a book left on the couch. I wasn't the one who picked it up but it was brought inside and just left on a bench. The baker was the one who picked it up and looked at it and he told a few of us about it. I took it home and am looking forward to reading it :) Thanx for leaving it there!!
It was a really good read :) Hope others enjoy it too!!!!
