I am just about to finish this book which was a present. I found the story quite interesting as it is set in Florence in the late 1400's around the time of the death of Lorenzo de Medici. The style seemed a little heavy handed at times but it has made me want to read more about the Medici family. I am planning to make this book my first release when I'm done but haven't decided where yet....
