Read and release!
I will most certainly do so !
Released 12 yrs ago (1/24/2012 UTC) at Turnhout, Antwerpen / Anvers Belgium
CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Not the easiest book to read, that ‘s why I guess it took me very long. Then you were away, and afterwards I just couldn’t get myself organized. So I’m very sorry for slowing things down, this much.
I promise it won’t become a habit.
I hope you’ll like the book though, because however not the easiest, the book is very ‘worthwile’. Beautifully written. Oliver Twist in a much improved version, I think. And that is not a tiny compliment ! It’s historically correct, believable. The setting is right, so are the characters. The ‘thrill’ in it may be less than you’d imagine when reading the blurb, but the ‘literature’ is bigger, so that does add up :)
Happy wish list tag !

It arrived yesterday! :D Thank you so much for tagging me! And for the chocolate, and the tea, and the bookmarks.
Well, it took me a long time to read this book and it was a big effort to actually end it, I was tempted to drop it a few times and I would have if I haven't gone to Goodreads to snoop on people's opinion about the book and discovered that there was a great twist ahead of me.
It's true, there is a twist that actually kept me reading until the end but this book just came to prove that historical fiction is not my favorite genre. It is well written and I do not see anything that sets me off in the setting but I just did not enjoy the reading that much.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Left at the cafe during our monthly meet up!
In my hands since our meet up. Looking forward to reading it!
A thrilling, book, I enjoyed reading it. I finished it in a couple of days. I was hooked by the plot and the surprising twists. I love victorian settings in books (and films). The writer has created detailed and complicated characters. The atmosphere of the english countryside and London of that time are really beautifully given.

That's rather strange! The book is NOT in my hands. It was released back in 2017 as I have already wrote on my realising note. It is possibly travelling or caught by someone who hasn't made a comment yet.
I have already contacted aigliz and she told me that something is wrong with her laptop which is responsible for the wrong entry.
I just wanted to clear things up...
