This is a kind of detective, set in England, 1817. Enjoyable light reading. Like Cornwell's Sharpe series, this book gives some good information about life in those days.

I picked up the book on a seat in the International Airport while waiting for my transfer flight. I was bored, had finished the book that I had and was wandering around the terminal with nothing to do. When I saw the book I at first thought that someone had forgotten it and was pleasantly surprised to read about "bookcrossing" and it's purpose. I therefore began reading the book. I think that the 'bookcrossing' idea is great. I left the book at the Birmingham International Airport for someone else to read and pass on.
