Noah's Garden : Restoring the Ecology of Our Own Back Yards

I found my own copy of this book at a used book store in my neighborhood that used to be a fire station. It's a gardening book about conservation, basically, and was not only fun to read, it advocates doing less yard work, which I can always get behind! I liked it so much, I ordered two more copies from Ruminator Books. One I sent to my mother-in-law, and this one I'm releasing into the wild.
In it, Sara Stein says, "Let's see what happens when the neighbors, curious at first - perhaps a little disapproving that someone has planted something other than lawn and yew - come to covet your woodland path, your fruit, your flowers, your birds and butterflies, and begin to follow your trendy example." I hope that happens to you!
